Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Architect

Full-time or Contract  |  Remote

Ready to make #BoldMoves? We’re looking for a driven, solution-oriented Technical Architect to join our team. In conjunction with a functional consultant, the technical architect leads Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations from start to finish, including leading discovery workshops, designing solutions to meet clients’ requirements, and implementing those solutions. This is a highly visible role, and clients count on you to be the expert. Custom subscription center? Personalized emails and landing pages? Integrations? Data? You decide how the solution is to be built. You know how to execute on it. You know what’s best for the client. You make bold decisions that drive bold results.   

Responsibilities 

  • Lead technical requirements gathering sessions with clients in order to design integration architecture and data model recommendations. 
  • Develop user stories to meet client requirements for Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Own technical implementation tasks in the build phase that deliver solutions on time and on budget. 
  • Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud using Marketing Cloud Connect, as well as with other data sources using API calls and automated file imports and exports. 
  • Codes dynamic email and landing pages to create personalized customer experiences.
  • Contribute to pre-sales efforts by providing input to scoping and levels of effort for SOWs. 
  • Continually seek process improvements of delivering Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.

Experience:  

  • Expert understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud data models and the pros and cons of the various ways to segment within the platform, both for non-technical and technical marketers. 
  • Deep SQL experience for complex data manipulation and segmentation in Automation Studio.
  • Extensive experience using AMPScript and SSJS in Marketing Cloud to build custom email and landing page solutions.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud APIs for triggered sends, updating data in data extensions, and passing data to external systems.
  • Exposure to custom SFMC subscription centers
  • At least 3 successful large Marketing Cloud implementations
  • Holds Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer certification
  • Ability to travel as needed for project kickoffs and milestone meetings
